One player whom we supported as a junior at the Wimbledon U19 Gold event when he was just 15, was Anders Antonsen from Aarhus in Denmark – he swept aside all opposition to win the boys’ singles and took home all of our prize money. Last weekend he contested his first final of the World Championships Mens’ singles in Basle, Switzerland. Sadly the holder, Kento Momota from Japan proved too strong, but what a momentous occasion in Anders’ career. Anders proved that the title is well within his grasp in the future.
