The Anders Foundation sponsored the Surrey Open Para Badminton tournament at the Wimbledon Racquets & Fitness Club (SW19) on Saturday 18th March 2017. It was a great success with thanks to the following for their organizing skills: Carol Bilton, Lorraine Brydie, Judith Fisher, Gary Sexton and Marion Eyles. After the finals the WR&FC's new Wet Room was officially opened by Richard Wellington, Vice-President of the Surrey County Badminton Assn. Thanks go to the London Marathon Charitable Trust, Badminton England and Surrey County Badminton Assn for their grants making this Wet Room possible.
